Camp Details

  • Dates: July 21–25, 2025 (Monday–Friday)

  • Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily

  • Location: Lake Oswego High School

  • Ages: 12–16

  • Cost: $350 per student

  • *Spots are limited – small group instruction with 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio!

Join the WirefireFTC Robotics Team for a week of hands-on learning, innovation, and fun! Open to students ages 12–16, this camp will spark curiosity, teach practical skills, and end with an exciting robotics challenge.

What Campers Will Learn

Campers will get hands-on with real FTC-level robotics hardware and software while learning directly from high school robotics team members.

  • Chassis fundamentals

  • Wheels, gears, and drivetrains

  • Motors, servos, and wiring

  • Clean wire management techniques

🧠 Code

  • Programming movement basics

  • Code logic for robot behavior

  • Hands-on control system integration

🎨 Design

  • Intro to CAD (Computer-Aided Design)

  • Design workflows for robot parts

  • Planning for real-world builds

🏗 Engineering

  • Engineering design process

  • Planning and iteration

  • Testing and improving designs
